Training Refund Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, cancellations, and transfers for all our training courses at the Workers Management Training Centre. We understand that circumstances can change, and we aim to be fair and transparent in our approach.

  1. Cancellation by Participant
  • More than 30 calendar days before the training start date: You will receive a full refund of the training fee, minus a 10% administrative processing fee.
  • Between 15 and 30 calendar days before the training start date: You will receive a 50% refund of the training fee?
  • Less than 15 calendar days before the training start date: No refund will be issued.
  • No-shows or early departure: Participants who do not attend the training or leave before its completion will not be eligible for a refund.
  1. Transfers and Substitutions
  • Substitution: Your organization may substitute another eligible participant at no additional charge, provided that the request is made in writing by an authorized representative of the organization at least 3 business days before the training start date.
  • Transfer to a Future Training:
    • More than 30 calendar days before the training start date: You may transfer your registration to a future training of equivalent value within 12 months, subject to availability, at no additional charge.
    • Between 15 and 30 calendar days before the training start date: You may transfer your registration to a future training of equivalent value within 12 months, subject to availability, for an administrative fee of 20% of the training cost.
    • Less than 15 calendar days before the training start date: Transfers are not permitted.
    • Only one transfer is allowed per registration. Subsequent transfers will be treated as a cancellation.
  1. Cancellation by Organizer

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a training due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., insufficient enrolment, trainer illness, force majeure), you will be offered the following options:

  • A full refund of the training fee.
  • The option to transfer your registration to a future training of equivalent value.

We will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel, accommodation, or other related expenses, due to a training cancellation by the organizer. We recommend booking flexible travel arrangements.

  1. How to Request a Refund or Transfer

All refund or transfer requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@wmtc.co.za or phindiledla@gmail.com. Please include your full name, training title, dates, and the reason for your request.

  1. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 15-20 business days of receiving the written request. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  1. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this policy where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond the reasonable control of that party, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, or government regulations. In such cases, we will work with participants to find a mutually agreeable solution, which may include transfers or credits for future training.
